There's a lot to organise when someone dies, and not much headspace to do it. We try to keep this part simple. Choose a design, tell us where it's going and when, and we'll take care of the rest.
Funeral flowers Sydney: delivering to a service
We deliver to funeral homes, churches, chapels, crematoriums and private residences across Sydney. When you order, please include:
- the full name of the person who has died
- the venue name and address
- the date and start time of the service
- the funeral director's name, if you know it
Tributes need to arrive before the service begins so staff can place them. For an early morning service, we'd suggest delivery the day before.
Please give us 2-3 days' notice for wreaths and other flowers for a service, so there's time to plan the design and confirm the delivery timing.
Wreath, bouquet or plant?
It mostly depends on where the flowers are going.
A wreath is made for the service itself. It's displayed on a stand or near the casket, and it's usually sent by family, close friends or a workplace. The Traditional Funeral Sympathy Wreath (from $197) is classic and structured. The Artistic Funeral Sympathy Wreath (from $247) is looser and more garden-like.
A bouquet suits the family home. It's a quieter gesture, something to put in a vase and sit with in the days after. Classic & White is the one most people reach for, though soft pastels or a mix of seasonal Australian botanicals can feel just as right if they reflect the person.
A potted orchid plant needs very little looking after. That makes it a kind choice for someone who's already stretched thin.
For casket flowers or larger tributes, send us an enquiry with the service details and we'll talk it through with you.
Sending sympathy flowers to a home
Sympathy flowers don't have to be tied to the funeral date. Plenty of people send them a week or two later, once the house has gone quiet and the phone has stopped ringing. That timing is often the one that's remembered.
If you're not sure anyone will be home, add a note for the driver (a safe spot, or a neighbour's name). We deliver across the North Shore and wider Sydney, and you can check your suburb on our delivery areas page.
Remembering a pet
Losing a pet is a real grief, and often a lonely one. Our Pet Memorial Tribute (from $57) is a small arrangement of dried and preserved flowers, sized to sit beside a photo, a collar or an urn. It doesn't need water, so it can stay on a shelf or in a memorial corner at home.
Writing the card
This is where most people get stuck. Keep it short. You don't need perfect words, just honest ones.
- "Thinking of you all, with love."
- "With deepest sympathy. [Name] will be so missed."
- "We're here for anything you need."
At a service, families usually read cards afterwards, so include your full name. Add a Sympathy Greeting Card if you'd like room to write more.
Every design is made to order by our small team in Northbridge. We've been doing this since 2014, and sympathy work is something we take real care with.

Sympathy, Funeral & Condolence Flowers & Gifts Sydney FAQ
How far ahead should I order funeral flowers for a service?
Please give us 2-3 days' notice for a service if you can. Include the venue, the date and start time, and the full name of the person who has died, and we'll plan delivery so the tribute arrives before the service starts. For deliveries to a home, order by 12:30pm Mon-Sat for same-day delivery.
Should I send a wreath or a bouquet?
Send a wreath to the funeral service, where it will be displayed. Send a bouquet or a potted orchid plant to the family home. If you're unsure, a bouquet to the home is never the wrong choice, and families often appreciate flowers that arrive after the funeral, when things are quieter.
What should I write on a sympathy card?
Short and sincere is best. "Thinking of you, with love" or "With deepest sympathy, [Name] will be so missed" is plenty. Add your message at checkout, and include your full name so the family knows who it's from. For a longer note, add a Sympathy Greeting Card.
Do you make flowers to remember a pet?
Yes. Our Pet Memorial Tribute (from $57) is a small arrangement of dried and preserved flowers made to sit beside a photo, collar or urn. It doesn't need water. Tell us a little about your pet and any colours you'd like in the order notes.
Do you make casket flowers or custom funeral tributes?
Yes, we design custom funeral flowers, including casket flowers and larger tributes. Send us an enquiry with the service date, venue and what you have in mind, and we'll come back to you with options. Our guide to funeral flowers in Sydney covers what to send, where and when.

You will receive an email confirmation of your flower order.

If you selected local courier delivery, your flowers will be transported from our shop in Northbridge to the delivery location by either someone on our team or one of our trusted courier partners. We do our best to accomodate for any preferences where realistically possible, and will contact you if there is an issue.
After a delivery has been completed, we will notify you usually via SMS or email if overseas, along with a photo of the bouquet we designed.
Will the flowers I order look like the photos?
The photos online are for colour & textural inspiration - with flowers being seasonal, exact varieties will vary based on its availability and quality throughout the year. We strive our best to substitute for something similar to what you see in the photos at different times of the year. If there's a particular photo or flower in a photo that you love, please let us know when adding to cart. We ALWAYS do our best to cater for preferences, and will inform you prior to designing if a request is not possible.
We also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If your recipient isn't happy with their flowers, we'll do our best to make sure the issue is resolved.
How do you ensure the flowers will survive a delivery?
For all deliveries, we wrap the stems of the bouquet in a water pouch that is biodegradable and simple to remove upon delivery. The level of water in the pouch varies with the distance and types of flowers. This helps the flowers keep fresh in transit as much as possible. We keep bouquets upright during delivery to ensure the stems continue drinking throughout.
Each bouquet comes with a Flower Care Card which details instructions to the recipient on how to take care of their flowers after unwrapping.
What happens if no one is home for the delivery?
This is a very common delivery scenario. Typically there is a safe place to leave the flowers.
If it's a house, we find a shaded spot undercover near the front door or similar.
If an apartment, either at the lobby or we try to buzz a neighbouring unit, to enable us to leave the flowers inside the secure building or at the unit's door.
We usually attempt to contact the recipient to let them know that something has been delivered (unless directed otherwise).
In the absolute worst case scenario, a re-attempt of delivery will be organised at an additional fee for a subsequent date or time. We will always contact you if this is the case.
