Red, burgundy and lime green wedding flowers for Karen and Martin's intimate wedding at Le Foote, The Rocks, Sydney (May 2026).

Karen and Martin brought their 20 closest people to Le Foote in The Rocks for an intimate late-autumn wedding. Karen's brief was burgundy and olive green with a touch of plum, so we leaned into deep reds and burgundies and lifted them with lime green and creamy white.
The ceremony: two plinths and that mural
Le Foote's painted Greek mural is the star of the room, so the flowers had to work with it, not compete. Two tall plinths framed the ceremony spot, with red dahlias, burgundy hydrangea, pink cymbidium orchids, lime anthurium and trailing amaranthus picking up the terracotta and black of the walls.

Karen's bouquet
A loose, textured bouquet of red dahlias, white calla lilies, green anthurium and dark trailing amaranthus, finished with long silk ribbon. Bold enough to hold its own against the mural, and soft enough for an intimate day.

A tip if you're getting married at Le Foote
- The mural is busy and beautiful. Pick a palette that pulls from it (terracotta, red, black, cream) rather than one that fights it.
