Avah and John married at Oatlands House on 27 February 2026. Avah's brief mixed two moods: the soft pastels she had seen in our work and the brighter, sunnier pastels of a "Buongiorno Positano" garden party. Every flower in the day came from that one mixed palette, from the bridal bouquet to the cake table.

A different pastel for every bridesmaid
Each bridesmaid wore a different pastel dress, and Avah wanted each of them to carry her own colour: pink, yellow, green and lavender. The maid of honour, in a more colourful dress, carried mixed pastels. The groomsmen's buttonholes matched the bridesmaids one for one, John's was kept to whites to suit his cream suit, and the uncles wore darker tones like magenta, orange and coral so the family photos still read as one set.

Ceremony flowers by the fireplace
The ceremony was set up inside, with a white aisle runner leading to the marble fireplace and its gold mirror. We stood peach roses, pink blooms and white hydrangea on stands beside and in front of the fireplace, so the couple were framed by flowers from every row of seats. A loose spray of pink, peach and orange roses and cosmos dressed the signing table.

Reception in the Deck Room
The head table ran along the garden windows, so we kept its flowers low: one long run of dahlias, roses and mixed pastel and warm-toned flowers on a pale pink cloth, with two floor arrangements in front to give it height without blocking the view out. The round guest tables each had a glass vase of blush garden roses, cosmos, cream roses and small daisies with a candle, and a matching posy sat beside the yellow tiered cake.

The details that made it work
- One mixed palette, then each person's flowers pulled from it: the bridal party looked planned without being identical.
- Matching buttonholes to partners' dresses meant every pairing in the photos had its own colour.
- Low flowers on the head table kept the garden view, and floor arrangements gave the height instead.
- Small posies on the signing table, welcome sign and cake table carried the palette into every corner of the day.
